Fitting euro adaptors to 06 scenic

has anyone got a link or photo on how euro adaptors/beam benders should be fitted to an 06 Renault scenic?
I am off to Spain next week and the last time I fitted them using the instructions in France I got 'flashed' a couple of times!

Don't even bother with the light bender things, i've never fitted them and not been flashed once....well apart from on the autobahn but that was from nutjob germans coming up behind at speed.

Yes, but driving through France in a UK registered car...
You do at least have the mitigating factor of a French car I suppose.

Le Vieux Bill (or should you say Guillaume?) seem to like little better than ticketing UK-registered cars. Cycle racks are a favourite, happened to a couple of pals of mine. Lack of a GB sticker cost me FFR500 15 years ago.

Stick them on roughly to the leftwards and down from directly in front.

It's a funny one, as to whether or not you'll get pulled...

I always put them on when I go, and have been flashed a few times, my g/f's parents spent the best part of 4 years living there, didn't ever use them, and never got any grief... c'est la vie as they say

always get the gb sticker or appropriate plates, because that's easily visible to the coppers.

Don't bother with the light deflectors though, that's just a scam. Always makes me smile seeing people buy them on the ferry.

The only thing that i've ever been done for in about 20 years of going to europe was not having snow chains during the winter months, that was in italy but the guy just waved his finger at me and told me not to do it again. I think in theory i stood to face a fine of a few hundred euros on that one. They were stopping everyone on the border though to check they had them, i seemed to be the only person who hadn't got the memo.
