Fitting Cannondale headshok DD50 to a NONE Cannondale?

Anyone know if it's possible to fit a Cannondale headshok DD50 to a GT Zaskar? I'm pretty sure the Cannondale unit uses some strange, specialist 1.5" headset.
I've read that it's possible to convert the Cannondale to run 1-1/8th with the supplied adapter but what about the other way around?

Thanks for any info.

The front end is engineered to be especially high without screwing with the angles. If you got itin, you'd be riding like araked chopper. Dunno about now, but the older headshocks had a radical negative rise stem to offset the incrased height

Thanks peep's

Cheers, I always wondered why the Noodle F - Series had such radically sloping stems.

I'll keep my eyes out for an Ashton sig frame and start a project.

I had an Ashton signature trials frame - had a standard 1 1/8" head tube so you couldn't fit headshok forks to that either. :)

You can fit a lefty to a bike with an 11/8 headtube, but the cost of the lefty makes it an issue :?

Aversion therapy !

I've found some none suspended Cannondale Fatty Pbone's instead..... yeagh! we're going stiff on the front! :?

If you've got the cash to Spare - I have seen a Custom Litespeed with a Headshock Fatty Ultra! - Mint!
Doogie has the Merlin softail in the ads, that'll take a Headshok too ;)
