Last of the Tom Teesdale built fishers
This is the 1989 Classic model with a 1" headtube and cantilever brake mounts the detailed work on these frames are brilliant and so underated.
Decals were supplied by Gil at retrodecals bottom bracket sourced and new bearings fitted, kitted out with mostly deore XT kit inc biopace, platform pedals and 4 finger levers, brev seatpost, Bernard hinault turbo with plenty of patina, roller stem is in keeping with the era, swept alloy bars, mavic 231 rims, tyres are dusters but sure you could source some nicer period correct ones, new cables and outers fitted...... It looks really nice!
It was an old stock frame a few months ago but it did have some paint blemishes from storage so I thought I would build it up and show it at the Malverns.
Truth is it doesn't fit with my collection of British fillet brazed bikes so I have decided to clear the space. I have seen these things sell at various prices so I'll put it out at £650 collected from York as I don't want to post, happy to hear any interest from folks and negotiations welcome if you think I'm off on price but I think it's about right.....
