Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

That X-Lite stem looks mega, matches the bike really well :) .

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

Yeah agree, the stem suits it far better than the Syncros it came with.

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

Matches the square tubes and raw aluminium really well.

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

The Syncros was what I had available to throw-on so it would look more like a bike when it arrived :)

Now gonna be as much UK bits as possible - it's that damn sheeps' fault!

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

Small update.

Still need a new 112mm Action-Tec axle, as the idiots handling the shipping from Colarado lost the one I ordered - Bye bye 100 USD  Cost to ship one tracked - 97 bloody Dollars
Plan B - get one shipped to our Office in Pennsylvania for 17 Dollars, and get a workmate to bring it over. To be continued...

On a happier note, the front wheel is now built up with the RC50 hub, though I had a clearance problem with the spokes hitting the pre-'93 RC35s...fixed using two copper washers

Slowwwly getting there.

That is hub porn right there, compliments the fork perfectly :D .

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

just lovely bollox... have those forks, have one of those hubs... want that bike

watching with interest

Re: Winter project started - Pace RC200 F2 with special RC35s

It seems to me that your skewer is not running through the centre of the hub - the skewer nut is sitting higher on the exterior of the dropout than the spacer is sitting on the interior. Is this just camera angle?
