Finally got a she zang

Many years after first wanting a Xizang I’ve finally got one. Had its little brother (Lightning) for around 4 years but still lusted after one.

Quite a nice spec to start but needed some tweaking and period parts to make it right.

Oh and the tyres literally were cut off as they were like plastic and didn’t want to risk the rim and let’s be honest they need to be binned anyway.

How it came

After a couple of hours this morning at 6am I was left with this



It’s another hardtail GT ticked off the list which I’ve wanted a while

Next question , how do you add air to 98 SIDS? Had these 4-5 years and they are a little soft I think now

What about if I don’t have the correct pump?

I’m sure I read you can use a needle type which you use on a football?

There seems to be tiny flat head screws which I assume you remove and that grants access to the hole where the needle enters.

(Or has anyone got a pump i can borrow or buy )

Yes, you remove the screw, make sure you wet, or lube the needle adapter before inserting or you can split the rubber seal.
