Fergie's gloves!

Can't believe I just found these rummaging through boxes in the garage! Still with original box and even the receipt!
Bought from Stif Cycles, Leeds, on 7th September 1993
£22.95 + P&P - which was about 3 weeks' paper round wages
I used these more when I joined a gym aged 16/17 for weightlifting than I did on the bike iirc, and Fergie's also has a dedicated weightlifting glove, same style but with only two finger straps, whereas the bike ones have 4 finger straps.

I really liked these. Spent a fair bit of time riding with the guys at Stif when they were at the Sail Loft (rather than the swanky Headingly shop) in 91/92.

I'm not sure they were ever for sale in the first place??

I went through a few pairs of Fergies in the 90's, think I probably bought mine from Stif too. I really liked them.
I remember the comedy sun tan lines on my hands very well
