The Wall Street Journal decided to review Fat Tire Flyer, so they reached out to an English writer who had a book out a few years ago, and a BBC programme as well. His name is Rob Penn. I don't know whether the WSJ was aware that my friend Joe Breeze and I were featured on Rob's BBC effort, "The Ride of My Life," (we start at 30:00) and in Rob's book, "It's All About the Bike," but I couldn't be happier with their choice of writers to review my work.
The WSJ is one of the biggest circulation newspapers in the world. The day after this review appeared, Amazon sold out of my book. I have no idea what the WSj charges for a half-page advert, but I got one gratis.
Here's Rob's review.
Here's Dirt Rag.
