Offers in the thousands...what a chancer. He had it up for £2.5k BIN yesterday, it's worth nowhere near that.

I had 005ti2m in 95, it cracked by the bottom bracket shell in october 98. I loved how it rode, but wasnt that well finished. mine was so early the dropouts werent machined, just flat plate. the seattube wasnt reamed properly & the machining on the chainstay sleeves was pretty rough. with time & hindsight a lot of those early fat chance tis cracked due to contaminated welding. fond memories, but cant say i miss it. it was replaced with a serotta built fat ti that was considerably better built, but was miles stiffer & wasnt so nice to ride.

Wow that was one of the first production runs in 92 you had. Scotty B mentioned on Cogs that there were a ‘few failures’ ( Merlin had failures then too) but always backed up by a warranty afaik. The gusseted head tube & sleeved BBs of that 92/93 era were superseded by the 94 design - best of breed. I have two 94s PERFECTION in a bike imo and a 97 Ti is also just a joy to ride.

This frame looks mint and owned by a member on here and was imported from TPC (afaik) in the US, so bear the cost of that in mind. Would be nice if another RBer pics it up. :)
