im gonna weld this chainstay until i find another one
its gonna be build with m900 and some syncros and if the paint is very worse i will give it an nice respray
Looking forward to the build thread... If you choose a re-spray, I hope you stick to the Milka color... Not for me to decide of course, but I really like the Milka-purple on these AMP Fats
FYI- you can order a new chainstay from Amp Research for $90+shipping. It would be the newer bonded version and the tubes are black powder coated. I just replaced the rear end on my B4. I also have the original welded chainstay that came off which I could sell if you can't find anything local. It's a newer generation then yours and I'm not 100% if it'll fit. Does the Billy have Amp parts on it? or are they wicked built look-a-likes? Just looking at the ebay pics I'd say weld it, a repair in that location will last a long time and if it fails it's not likely to cause a big crash.
Pics of both stays are in my build thread; viewtopic.php?f=6&t=226750
