fat bottom (bracket) question

Got a problem with my push in Bottom bracket for the yo.

I have some cook cranks that I was hoping to put on it but the cr-mo spindle is 118 and I need a bigger one for these cranks. Does anyone know where I can get a longer spindle or am I asking for to much and go for some cranks that fit?

I had read somewhere that someone recommended loctite and getting rid of the collars and this might just work but would this be a secure way to ride?

is it a old non sealed type your after ? i have a few in the hut . i can check tomorow , just tell me where to measure from-to and a size

The type I am after is a White Ind bb, which is a Ti axle, with two alloy locking washers that sit inside the BB shell. I tried a axle which was out of my Adroit which is 118. This was too short so I am guessing 122mm

Cheers eck but the spindle on these bb are straight units I think the ones you have(I have an old type too) have races for the bearings so would be no use to me, if that makes sense mate.

aye , but i've never seen one like that before :? could'nt you just change the whole bb ?

infact , is the spindle splined ?

it is square taper, it is press in not threaded so BB options are limited.
