Alpine's CDA-9853R CD player features GlideTouch — take a close look at the bottom of the CDA-9853R's faceplate. That's right — no preset buttons. Instead, you'll find a simple, white, silicon rubber strip. That's the GlideTouch panel.
It works much like the touch pad on a laptop computer. To use it, you simply slide your finger over the strip until you've found the function you want (a sound guide helps you out).
