Theres an excellent Beer and Cider Festival on next weekend (9th-11th) if anyone fancies a trundle out on Exmoor.
I'm taking a gentle trundle out with the kids from Lynton for a few Sunday pints then trundling back. 6/7miles each way.
Details of the beerfest here - http://thehuntersinn.net/id19.html
There are loads of good tracks and challenging roads nearby for MTBs or Roadies, well worth a trip. I met several cyclists there out for the day last year it'd be good to see a few more this year.
This is the route I'll be taking, starting from the distance heading this way.
Roughly an hours drive from M5 J27 if anyone is thinking about coming up for the day.
I'll probably be on my Ribble MTB with eldest son on his orange Land Rover MTB, but we may change our minds and go on the road bikes (Bianchi for me and a Carrera TDF for the nipper). So say hello if you see us there.
