Stumpjumper1990 thought this bike might something for me. And he was right!

I bought the bike from Jim van Overbeek. He's a former XC and Downhill worldcup rider, and was the first National champion in 1988. This was his actual team bike in 1990. Very cool!

In 1991 the team switched to Shimano so some of the original Campa Euclid stuff has been replaced by XT. I will bring the bike back to the 1990 spec eventually, but it's a build that has to get in line with other (unforseen...) projects! I'm keeping in thouch with Jim, and he promised me to send me more info about the bike. Maybee even some racing pictures from back then!

Peugeots like you have there could be spotted frequently in it. Nice bike btw!

very nice someone from here bought it.
I almost bought it but no space around here for more bikes ;)

very lovely

Nice, shows some classic Peugeot features, like the shape and position of the seatstays joining the seat tube and the inexternal welding.
What is that rear mech though? Looks like a Shimano SIS!

Carl.

that seat tube/top tube layout seems to be a french signiture
mbk's bikes were that shape too , any real reason for it or just branding ?
