Ever seen a 36er?

Took this photo a couple of months ago.
The brown bike next to it is a Surly 29er. Check out the differance.
Twin disc up front. About a 1 to 1 ratio gearing.
The gent hand built the wheels using unicycle rims and welding two hubs togather.
Kinda crazy!

With fat tyres that big why on earth would you need a thudbuster post which would surely flex down onto the tyre !!!!!!!!!!

Bike like that would just roll over everything as if it wasn't there........i want one :D

Seriously, with all respect, I have no idea -exept for the bike posted by lgf-, what this has to do with vintage bikes. Will move it to the right section.

Well' I don't believe that any of the above describe me but, nevertheless, I think it would be a fascinating bike to take out for a blast - just because it is something different. I'd love to have it to play with for a day or two. :LOL:
