After two years and countless happy customers from more than 20 countries in this world, I am dedicating an own comprehensive thread to my manufacturing of retro suspension fork elastomers. I will try to keep this updated whenever a new set has been added to the collection palette.
All elastomers are hand-manufactured and made in Germany!
Note! Neither the stanchions, tubes, the finished suspension fork or any other small parts are included in this sale. They are in the images for demonstration- and usage purpose only. Other fork-parts like aluminium washers, PU-seals, screws or any other small parts you will take from your existing retro fork that is going to be re-built with these elastomer-kits.
For certain models, I also always try to provide several spare parts like washers, compression rods, dust caps or wiper seals. Please contact me if you are in need of any special parts. However, they are very limited! I do not store or work on a wide range of spare parts except for elastomers.
Occasionally, colors of elastomer-sets can vary! Depending on fork-model. Usually the very soft set is yellow, the regular medium set is turquoise and the hard set is of purple color.
All elastomers are available in soft, medium and hard density. The standard kit will contain the medium elastomers of Shore 60A hardness. The standard sets (medium density) are suitable for all riders between 50 to 120 Kilos (100 to 240 Pounds).
Elastomer-hardnesses:
- Soft (Basically not really recommended for adults - only for children. Or to react to special weather conditions)
- Standard (Recommended for every rider between 50 kg and 120 kg of body-weight)
- Hard (Recommended for all rider over 120 kg or to react to special weather conditions)
All prices are €uro prices + shipping costs. They underly inflation and all the other usual turmoil and mayhem in this world.
