Eddy Merckx Corsa SLX
- this is possibly a Corsa Extra model - but hard to confirm due to serial number interpretation
59cm frame size
Believe this to be a Eddy Merckx 59cm SLX from 1988-90 (according to BB markings)
Was SOLD, but non-payer means back for sale

Had quite a few questions about this frame and from what I can see, and cross check against various experts sites the facts are:
SLX tubing
59cm
1988 - 1990
Most sites seem to indicate this as a Corsa Extra frame (X marking on LH side of BB), but its hard to be conclusive, so cannot say for certain which model it is. Opinions welcome.

Bought by me a 15years ago (second hand), used as a training bike for about 6 months - then I moved and got a company car... put into dry storage and not ridden since.
Everything works.
Bearings all smooth.
Just needs a good service/adjustment
Front wheel has one broken spoke - easy repair (snapped at nipple)
Frame has not been crashed.
Frame has not been damaged and repaired.
Frame is true
Paintwork has age related marks, but pretty good overall (see new pictures).
Letters / decal starting to lift one side of the downtube and headtube
Some very slight paint lifting around bottom cup of headset
