For Sale is a used retro Eddy Merckx road bike.
90's Motorola Design.
Full Campagnolo 8 Speed Mirage Groupset, including seatpin.
39/53 Chainring.
Campagnolo wheels with 2 Continental tyres.
54cm centre to centre top tube.
53cm centre to centre seat tube.
Sold as seen, In good condition but has numerous marks and chips.
Hopefully the photos show the real condition of the frame.
Perfect for an eroica ride.

Not really, it has Ergos and concealed brake cables.
I can appreciate a bit of marketing hype is useful, along with hanging it onto the emotions of Eroica, but its always useful to add a bit realism to aid the uninitiated.

Well done Pigman for pointing this out. Sadly L'Eroica seems to be attached to just about every thing these days. However, as you say, a nice looking bike.

Surely if you remove the ergo levers and put down tube levers on as there is braze on gear lever bosses on the down tube

Yes you can remove the Ergo's and put friction levers on the down tube bosses. The replacement brake levers would need to have non-aero (i.e. exposed) brake cables over the handlebars. The cassette is 8 speed whereas I believe the maximum allowed is 7 speed. The cut off date is 1987 and your frame is 1990s. So quite a lot of work required.
I have nothing against your bike, in fact I am even tempted by it myself, but it is not L'Eroica ready and even with work is not really in the spirit of the event.
However, a fine bicycle from the 1990's at a reasonable price and it deserves a good sale.

Sorry for late reply, but the bike was not set up for me.
I suppose it would suit somebody with a saddle height of approx 680mm to 750mm
