Ebay watchers

i don't find that bothersome, it sells or it doesn't, the amount of watchers is irrelevant to me.

what does annoy me though is when you click on a listing and right over the picture there is pop up that says "15 people are watching this per hour" or whatever, why does ebay think i want to know this?

if they tell me there are alot of people watching i assume someone is more likely to have more money available for that item than me, also it tells me simply that i have more potential competition for that item. so if anything it puts me off.

slightly different but I had over 300 watchers on a pair of campag super record calipers but only 2 bidders, but I guess that's all you need right?

It doesn't annoy me but I do find it funny when something generates a lot of interest and doesn't sell. Especially if it had a low start price (even 99p)
Admittedly sometimes people are just curious as to the value of something, especially if you have one gathering dust

I think you're also feeling that all watchers are potential buyers.
l watch lots of things that I'm thinking of selling, to get an idea of interest and potential asking prices?

All the best,

I watch 25/30 items a week. And buy much less than 1 of those probably. It's all good.
