Ive been putting this off as i love the bike, but its just too small for my aging back, been sat for nearly 2 years.....time to let it go.
So im putting out feelers to anybody who might want the frame and / or forks. I really want them sold prior to stripping the bike...if i get no interest, then it stays in the shed.
Frame is 19.5 Maxlite made from Easton Ultralite tubing. It weighs in at just 1650g (actual weight). Cantilever bosses and disc mount. 130mm head tube. I belive it was made for 100 to 120mm forks. Im throwing in the hHansom Dog litestik post too. Builds up to a nice light , fast, flickable bike....in its present form its 9.4kg. At present its has no more than a damp cloth...so needs a good clean and polish.
For the frame im asking £70 plus post cost, having consulted with the intelligence of the forum.
The other bit is the forks. These are Exotic Alluminium. They are fairly new and were the last update i made in an attempt to get it more rideable for me. They are corrected to 120mm 465mm a to c. If i had to guess they have done 300miles of xc....no crashing, banging or jumping. Cant see a mark on them...steer is 215mm...1 1/8" standard straight.
Forks £65 plus post cost.
If you would be interested in the whole bike.....well that's another story....but one i may listen to...
