Don't often see an anodised spider.
Rear hub does seem to have a non standard set-up that may not suit all as it is - but could be changed of course.
The risk here is that are they cracked under all that dirt/dust...

Too risky cleaning Hope hubs. That could be load bearing dirt/dust.

The rear hub is for the early hope brakes where it sat on the axle with a brace to the canti/V mount.

I've got a setup like that on a Kona Chute, not sure why cause the frame has a dedicated mount, but that's how it came to me.
