recently finished sympathetically restoring my pair of 1988 rides, one of which is my Tange Prestige Procalibre - an amazing bike in its day, and still a pleasant ride today - I've been all over the Brecon Beacons on it (prior to restoring) recently for old time's sake There is certainly something about the way it rides and the geometry, materials and XT group that was always spot on

Ah Yes - the "Hite-Rite" who needs over-complicated modern 'dropper-post' solutions - when the 40year old "Breeze&Angel" original works just fine (just so long as the tolerance on your post/frame are good and it glides well with the good quality seat Q/R like the DeoreXTII original.

I've joined the club with this '89.



Got some slightly evil, plans for this since it came non spec anyways (came with very smooth Deore, not the orginal XT. Not a retro mod, but gratious addition of early 90s Ritchey parts and other pioneers (ie orginal WTB).
