The thing under the top tube is the seatpost clamp...That's a lovely bit of unusual Frenchness. The blue colour scheme on these was nicer, but this one looks very original. I love those brakes and shifters. What's that thing on the seat tube just under where it meets the top tube? I wonder how it rides; Googling tells me some people found it very harsh, so it seems possible that in going for the aero profiling they compromised most other advantages of a steel frame. I still like it though. If only I had the room...
Yeah, looking again I just realised that, seeing as there's not one in the usual place! I've not seen that in a steel frame bike before. The funny thing is that from a distance it looks like a much more modern fairly bog standard aluminium frame.The thing under the top tube is the seatpost clamp...
