That's a lovely bit of unusual Frenchness. The blue colour scheme on these was nicer, but this one looks very original. I love those brakes and shifters. What's that thing on the seat tube just under where it meets the top tube? I wonder how it rides; Googling tells me some people found it very harsh, so it seems possible that in going for the aero profiling they compromised most other advantages of a steel frame. I still like it though. If only I had the room...

Could make an interesting basis for a RetroMod with late 90’s or early naughties kit.

The thing under the top tube is the seatpost clamp...

Yeah, looking again I just realised that, seeing as there's not one in the usual place! I've not seen that in a steel frame bike before. The funny thing is that from a distance it looks like a much more modern fairly bog standard aluminium frame.

Anyway, it would seem a shame to lose the originality of the bike so I hope whoever does buy it keeps it as original as possible. Just needs a bit of a polish and you're pretty much done, I'd think. At least, I would be...

I saw a very very basic model of this years back with flattened welded scaffold poles and curved bits welded around them and Adamas AX gruppo about as aerodynamic as a brick and weighed a ton... This is so much nicer.
