Looking good, I'm a big Raleigh fan.
Were the Dura Ace bits upgrades?
Aesthetically, I think that version of Dura Ace is my all time favourite groupset.

Hello
I upgraded just about everything on this frameset.
It was all Shimano

Ultegra 6500 - Headset
Crankset
Front and Rear mechs
Sti Levers
Pedals (now xtr 9000)
Bottom Braket

Dura Ace 7700 - Hubs 32/28
Seatpin
Cassette
Brakes

Chain is a PC89R SACHS; (cant seem to find this now.....i do like the design and performance of it)

dont want to go further than 9 speeds on this bike with future upgrades......but it seems this grade of 9 speed is getting scarce......

i also like this version the best
not a fan of the later single piece cranksets....

Here is my latest a 1995 Dyna Tech 755 Ti aprox 50 miles from new !!

Still got all of its 600 tricolour bits

Hi Kevin looks good did you refurb the frame or is that stock this is mine I'm waiting to get the wheels back to finish it off http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=335562

Hey bro; thanks for the comment...

The frame is in original condition; I will try to keep it that way as long as possible. Of course it is an old bike so its got a few battle scars...

I have all the original bits for the bike still; including the original wheels......

BTW im wondering how to properly identify this frameset; i hear people talk of the monostay version being a 1990 model.........Any info appreciated

Maybe mines is a 1990?
I have the original reciept; the bike was bought from DAYS CYCLES in 1991
