DX 8 speed conversion.

I know the axle will need re-spaced, I know the wheel will need re-dished, but what I don't know is the part number for a compatible freehub body. Can anyone help?

You've lost me a little,I take it you want to put another speed on your wheel?

If it was myself,I would just buy another built up wheel off here with the hub you need.

Just grab a retro 8speed hub and pinch it off that. You then get the drive side cone setup that might be needed with the seal system it used. Much easier than swapping any dust caps as they can be a pain in the arse. Some of the modern cheaper setups might fit as well. Or look for a screw in bottom cog, though don't think I've seen them since BitD
