Dura-Ace 7700 crank extractor

Anyone know if it's possible to replace the self-extracting bolts on a Dura-Ace 7700 crank? It looks as though the whole unit would come out, but I haven't seen a replacement part anywhere.

Wonder if the 600/DA AX extractors are the same as the 7700 ?

Same idea, just the 7700 have bolts for an octalink bb. The outer ring with the two indents is what made me think you could remove it.

This gives me hope!

Yes, it's replaceable.
Also interchangeable with all the other self extracting octalinks of that era. Xtr, da, ultegra and some xts came with it.
I have a selection.

Shimano Tool TL-FC20 gets them out. About a fiver. Its also the tool for holding the back of chainring bolts, handy.
