A colleague of mine at work was telling us about a friend of his who bought a 911 GT2 (this was around 2010 so only about £40k), when drunk, and whilst not working.
Fortunately, his wide, who had a very high paying job in the City paid it for him.

I did once bump up the bidding on a bike as it was seriously undervalued. Ended up with that one bid winning and having to drive from Manchester to Mexborough to pick it up
And it was only an ordinary Carlton that someone had dressed up as a Flyer
