Drunk buying (again).......... Roberts dogs bolx

I am by no means good at painting bikes but I like Montana Gold range for painting. Thin layers with 1 hour in between through the day, leave to cure 24h, wet sand, repeat process day after until it has build up a nice durable coat and is smooth. People swear by etch primers so that's probably a good bet. I'm more interested in it lasting than it looking good, as I only paint the frames for rust protection.

@Canuckbiker had good results with the Montana, perhaps he'd chip in. I initially recommended him Montana after he had reservations about Spray.bike. It shares some of the same traits but I find Montana more durable and far cheaper.
Yes @Imlach the Montana Gold worked well for me (much better than SB did). Not without some challenges but aren't most rattle can attempts nail bitters

Good quality stuff I think but the biggest draw for me was they offer good fluorestent colors which in my experience were tougher to come by, really good color range actually 👍

Hate the yellow, I am tempted by the old gold colour under the yellow though... But I keep thinking that all dogs bolx should be black and white under pain of death..... Anyone else think like this?
I am tempted by the SE colour schemes, or a take on them maybe...

Thoughts welcomed.

Up to you on the colour as it wasn't white/black to start with. Personally I would go white/black but that's because I lusted after a Dogs from way back when and that's the colour I would have got but if you don't have the same connection or desire then just do whatever you want! how about black and neon pink!

White/Black so boring and common.
Do something fun and different.

I've seen a green/cyan/violet version, nice blue fades/crossovers.

Or really confuse people and pinch some of the style Dave had with his Cats Wiskas. He knew style better than just black/white. Black/white is just a pretend Blizzard.

Yes, white and black is the easy go to option and you cant really go wrong with that.

Have you thought about a red/white/blue fade, along the lines of Peugeot bike?

And still a fan of the yellow front, like the picture posted by @MatBH5 above, but was thinking more about this frame with the red rear end -
