Nope, came like that. Eventually I sold it on and I think it was stripped, dents filled and sprayed in traditional white/black.

Plan .... Get that seat post out, which may be fun if it's awkward as it's a controltech by the looks of it which means it's not just tubular 
Then check to see what the frame number is hopefully it'll say something like Aston Martin number one
And then get it tidied up,... Wonder if that yellow paint is a crappy respray and will come off easy.

When I had my DB people were still telling me that there were issues and pointing out things. I’m sure when it comes to custom frames that not all of them are identical. Smaller frames are harder to tell when it comes to tapers too, especially in lighter (white) colours. This bargain one looks like a real chance.
