Just appeared on my neighborhood for a few bucks, and I´m in need of a cheap MTB to commute around town.

I had one of the older ones, 91 or so IIRC, black with the dayglo forks. Cromo main frame, generic steel rear stays, 200 GS groupset. Not a bad bike but the Topango was next up the range and for a bit more cash was sooo much better spec. Shame I was skint at the time!

I bought one of these for a mate of mine about 4 years ago, to get him into cycling.
He's now got a £3K lapierre and a £2.5K Colnago road bike!
Safe to say he doesn't miss his Sorrento, but he'd still be sat at home on his arse every weekend if it wasn't for it
