So today is a bit of a miserable day as we are suffering a so called storm (or a light shower as one of my Scottish friends said) so it's a lazy "stay-in" day. As I have a bit of spare time I thought I might as well create a thread for the interest of members as well as keeping a chronological timeline of this build for myself.
As I've made a bit of progress already I'll create a few posts showing initial stages so far, all comments or suggestions welcome as well as any Dean info or advice is most welcome.
So to start with, the Dean was always my favourite titanium frame of the period and I finally managed to source one. Here it is on the day of arrival when I unpacked it in my dark garage in the late hours. Already fitted to the frame is a Chris King headset which is beautiful. The forks are also titanium and incredibly lightweight which I'll show later.
I absolutely love the welding detail on these frames, I'm no expert but it looks amazing:
