For Sale Dawes Discovery 401

Evening all!

Recently rescued this from a date with the dump.
Anyone into Dawes & fancy a Discovery 401?

Complete & rideable.

All in good original order except the following:
Newer rear mech - probably not actually capable of running the low gear in anything but the granny.
Has a suspension post fitted.
Not sure the saddle is original.

Needs a new home.
I can do more details/photos if required.
I can probably post if buyer covers costs, but would prefer not too, as it's a faff.
If it's your thing you'd need to make a suitable donation to Cancer research or BHF.

I think it's too big for me in all honesty and you're a lot closer so if you can make it work you go ahead

I'm happy to post some further details, I didn't want to get too into detail as I wasn't sure there'd be any interest if I'm honest.

xtstman - there's actually a good deal more scope for you; I'm currently making occasional visits to a site outside Henley-on-Thames, perhaps 15 mins from Reading.
I have van issues just now, but I'd be happy to get to get it to Henley at some point - we have to be able to work something out from there, right?
