What build are you doing Gio - groupo/forks/wheels?

I'm going to wait till its finished before saying anymore Adrian, its top spec though so don't worry!

Hopefully all will be revealed very soon

Think you should carry on the guessing with a cross word clue

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

I'm still waiting for the small bits to arrive from the postie but it doesn't look like they're going to turn up today

So, I thought I'd better add a couple of build pics just to keep the thread going.

These are just some shots of the steerer and headset and stem. I had to cut and re-thread the steerer so it all fitted nice and snug without any spacers. I took the plunge and invested in the right tools and they did the job perfectly. These shots are off my phone so won't be great quality I'm afraid

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

Right, first peak at the build. This was prior to getting the steerer sorted but it'll give a good impression of the build. Pace forks that I have extensively stripped, rebuilt, cleaned, polished and re-decaled. M900 throughout including the bottom bracket and seatpost. Wheels are RM20's with NOS smoke and dart tyres. I'm not overly sold on the rims but I had them built up so thought I would use them. I would really like to have a set of Mavic 231's! Mustn't grumble though! :)

I will update the thread with some better shots when the missing part arrives and I can finish it off.

Really excited to get it finished and get it out in the sunshine...

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

Really, really nice Gio. Looking forward to the sunshine shots to see that paintwork properly

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

Good lord, how did I miss this.

Well, that is very special indeed.

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

Perfect so far mate and don't worry about the rims, RM20's are class and super tuff. ;)

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan E-stay

Thanks for all the comments guys, means a lot.

Right, I couldn't help myself! I took advantage of my lunch break and the fact the sun was out to take a couple of shots outdoors. She looks even better in the sun light
