Thought I would add this to the build thread,

Dave Yates Vulcan, fillet brazed with Reynolds 653 (not magnum) with matching fillet brazed fork, rear wishbone seat stay with chess piece cable hanger, finished in the "truly Scrumptious" candy cane colours.

Unsure of the build direction spec wise.

Re:

Nice! First to sign up. So much to look at with this frame and colour scheme, might I suggest an understated build, component-wise?

Re:

Holy cow that's nice Carl!

What's the history on this one? Who did the paint?

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan.

It was originally bought for the wife, but given shes 7 months pregnant I held off building it.

Tim did the paint once we found the colours, and all except the Reynolds decals all the logos are painted/.

I do have a matching Rockshox period mag for it also, that I need to reassemble, but have been on the look out for a bontrager crown, alas no luck, and now no rush.

Re:

Oh my, oh my, oh my I have come over completely unnecessary

That is truly beautiful, I am hoping that my Fuquay willbe a similar colour to the bottom bracket area on this beauty :D :D
