The Lincolnshire Section (V-CC) annual Dambuster's Raid Ride takes place on Saturday 23rd May, meeting at the Dambuster's Memorial in Woodhall Spa at 1030 hrs.
Ride length approximately 20/25 miles. Not a sportive, not a race, but an enjoyable and sociable ride through some quiet Lincolnshire lanes.
2015 is the 70th anniversary of the end of WW2 (war ended in May 1945 - at least in Europe), and this ride is also the 72nd anniversary of the Dams Raid.
We may be treated to a flypast.
This is a lightweight ride, so no moderns. Keepers of the Flame (KoF) welcome, any doubts pm me - if you wish to ride I need to know in advance.
