Cycle insurance

marks and spencers best deal out there mate ;) they pay out in full no funny buisness or fuss and within days of the claim as well :D :D

Having a rider on your home owners or renters insurance may actually be cheaper than a separate policy on a given bike The most important thing is keeping pictures of what you have with good details on serial numbers and how they are spec'd....if it should ever come to needing a pay out.

Putting a bike on a household policy is often cheaper, but you need a house to insure in the first place! I don't own a house but I just shopped around to insure my new bike and I was surprised at how much difference there was between policies. In the end i went with one that pays for accidental damage even when I'm racing and all kinds of other stuff for less than £10 a month...that'll pay for itself next time i smash my forks ;)

oh yea h, it was with the ETA in case you're interested
