Bought this from Craigslist last night, seller had it listed as "Custom Mountain Bike" and it looked to have a Ringle stem so I gave them a call. Not too familiar with Curtlo, though I see their new bikes around some, but this bike is remarkably light and came with some amazing kit. Besides the Ringle stem it had M900 mechs White Industries rear hub, Hershey front hub, Race Face crank etc...

Its in nice shape with a few blems can't wait to try it out.

Will get some proper pics later but here is the listing pic:

Great score. Lusted after one of these for a long time after seeing a review (or maybe an ad?) in MBA.

Re: Curtlo with Action Tec Fork

Thanks for the nice words and the link,

I found this ad for the Action Tec fork which may be of some interest. The fork on my bike stll seems to work, which is nice, and parts may still be available?

Great score, indeed! Curtlo? Custom builder in Washington state, no? Or am I confusing them for someone else?

No,you're right though originally from the Los Angeles area where he gained a cult following.
Highly underrated elsewhere.

Re: Curtlo with Action Tec Fork

Okay here are the proper photos of the Curtlo:

It came pretty much as you see it, the seller had bought it for his wife who never rode it (sound familiar to anyone?) I immediately ditched the saddle bag and the old BMX pedals, affixing a set of Ritcheys so that it is rideable. Th bike is really clean, only had to remove some dust, even the tubes held air.
