Cunningham Steve Potts frame going pretty high

Re:

The ATB equivalent of an ex works 50s Ferrari  Im guessing $20k +

If this goes crazy, expect another 1/2 to be listed within the month....kerching.

i notice some bid cancellations. could there be some suspect bidding to bump the price up ?

Hes has a ton of interest. Shame he stripped the original paint off the forks  Originality is everything. You would think that a seller would at least google details like that. Im no expert on Hams but anybody know what year this is ? 83?

Re:

He only allows US bidders which will sting him a bit. That said, it's way better, older, and rarer than the last Cunningham that got $15Kish.

$20K is about right.

Something about this auction is really fishy:

If you analyze the bidding history
(3 different(!) people retracted - that's already very rare with such an auction...
+ the way "1204" bidded, you see that it makes zero sense.)
Several red flags.
And $20 K is DEFIINITELY too high.
Stripped original paint of a nearly immaculate fork - WTF?!

Re:

Shall we group buy it £100ea and share it like an exotic sports car ? :?

Id be happy to ride it for an afternoon occasionally and take a few pics for £100
