Just wanted to show some 3 finger crosstop/auxillary levers I just received for my Marin Pine Mountain. I thought some people may be interested in them.

I chose them as an alternative to more expensive lightweight levers like Paul or AEST ones. They are Tektro/Cane Creek clones which are usually found on road or cross bikes. Unfortunately they do not sell them in 22.2mm for those of us using straight bars. That's why I ordered these versions from China. They use pear ended road type brake cables and can be used on their own or as auxillary levers.

They would work for anyone running cantilever brakes (cable pull not suitable for v-brakes) who wants to save a bit of weight :p. Chose these because they are light, and I've used crosstops for 8 years on my commuter so know they work.

They weigh exactly 100g for the pair, cost £7.22 and came in 6 days from China. I've taken some pics with a Tektro RL720 and a Cane Creek Crosstop for comparison. The lever with the smaller black bracket is the Chinese one (22.2). The tektro is 24mm and the cane creek is 31.9mm (I think).

I got them here. You can probably also buy from ebay.
