Initially I thought it was the chainring bolts. One had seized. I replaced and tightened them all. Still creaking.
Then I thought it was the self extracting crank bolts, greased and reseated. Still creaking.
I thought it might be the bottom bracket. Replaced that, cranks still creaking.
Pedals? Brand new, attached securely. Not those.
Turns out It was the lockring. Had that greased and reattached, silent running has resumed.
Yay.
