Having a clearout and instead of giving these to the charity shop, I thought I may as well see if anyone wants them here first.
The Ultimate Mountain Bike Book by Nicky Crowther
Lots of great pics of retro bikes, and covers everything from bike setup to touring routes, to techniques. Includes stripped down pics of Judy XC and Judy DH, a bit about early disc brakes and Maguras (but no V-brakes in sight!) and a bit that says '50 years from now we may all be pedalling bikes constructed by carbon fibre'!! Oh what foresight!
A great read. In great condition too.
Mountain Bikes maintenance and repair by John Stevenson and Brant Richards.
More technical and a year or two older, with a great pic of a Pace RC dream bike on the cover, this covers more of the repair side of bikes only and with only black ad white pics inside, but good for interest in the workings of old bits, even though there isn't huge detail of different models of parts.
Would just like the postage covered and for them to be appreciated
The Ultimate MTB Book may be a little more for postage as it's quite heavy, maybe £6 or so, the other a fiver should cover it.
