Cougar by Terry Dolan

Was in Walton Hall Garddens in Warrington today - there's a small cycle museum there which includes a Cougar amongst the exhibits - really nice looking bike. There was a very fierce looking Dolan TT (I think?) special which looked the same vintage but instead of a conventional top tube and seat post, it had a spectacular looking canitlevered spar made out of carbon fibre at a guess, with the saddle perched on the end.

I love the late eighties / early nineties fade style spray job. All of a sudden these look brilliant to me

Oh no, the dreaded Cinelli Splash tape!

Nice frames Cougars, I know someone who has one gathering dust somewhere. His is a much more subdued metallic raspberry though.

Why do you say the deaded splash tape? I assume you don't like it but it's exactly what's on my late 90s Cougar so perhaps it's period? It certainly suits my bike's colours... :(
