Mmmmmm? Bioace? Any good? Or absolute rubbish?

There was a rumour that this type of chainring may be appearing again...

Any takers?

erm no, next question please.

Extract from the Derbyshire English Dictionary & Definitive Guide to Everything - "Biopace: the cycling equivalent of going upstairs in the dark and putting your foot on a stair that isn't there".

 I can't belive this is even up for debate!

The case for the prosecution...
1. They look awful
2. They f**k your knees if your cadence is fairly high
3. They remind me of the 200GS groupset (my only experience of them)
4. They are retro in the same way whit dog poo is retro, i.e. it reminds you of times gone by but you wouldn't put it on your bike! ;)

White dog poo - what was that all about? (As a wee fella we were all convinced it was from poodles)

The new rotor rings are kinda bio pacey but have the cam in a different position which was were biopace fell down. Bobby Julich use them for time trialling. Never used them myself but remember seeing them and thinking they were cool( well the principle anyway)

Yeah, me and my mates thought it came from Westies (or any other white dog come to think of it).

was ok in its time, they had to try something different .

(better than a square-pace idea)

;)
