Cook bros cranks, year and modell???

Hi, just got these. Tried to mount them on the 125 mm spindle on my KLEIN Attitude 92, seems like spindle is too short.

In the tech manual from KLEIN it says that cooks from 92 requires a 130 mm spindle. Does anyone know for sure what spindle lenght I should go for?

Also would be nice to know the model name and production year of the Cooks!

Thanks.

RSR model though has the spider half a pitch around though.. one of the five arms is behind the crank arm.
Is the milled groove on the back or the side. If it's on the side edge, it would make it a CQP.
RSR also had the back of the pedal thread area counterbored with a ball-end mill.

You got a picture of the back side, of the left and right arms?

Any machined 1990's Cook Bros cranks would usually be laser etched. Some CQP just had a sticker on the spider.
Spider looks wrong for 1990's CBR/RSR too. Missing a set of holes. Absent of the interim holes, if it is a CBR product, it would be around 1990 latest, but still would have had a small laser etched "Cook Bros. Racing" possibly in italic.

More info to be trawled through here:

they look like RSRs, except that the backside isnt fully milled out the full length of the crank arm

Exackerly....
And the spider on an RSR isn't retained with a circlip, it has hammer drive rivets.

CQP is usually notched on the back side for stay clearance too.
I'm still erring towards CQP (which I know far less about).

Kind of confusing, it has features of both and missing features of both.

The very shallow taper of the arms suggests certainly a more "cook" designed / era product than a Jack Witmer design.
