Bristol-WillK
Retro Newbie
Hi, I am selling this beautiful updated Condor vintage road bike. I bought the Condor frame 2 years ago, and have since restored it to immaculate condition - at the same time adding a brand new groupset, wheels and saddle.
The bike is a pleasure to ride, but I am looking to move and, therefore, must sadly part with it.
I am looking for offers around £800.
Frame:
The 57cm Reynolds 531 steel frame was restored 2 years ago by specialists Argos Cycles in Bristol, with a black base colour, lacquer and vinyl decals to match the latest Condor Lavoro design/colour scheme. Along with replacements of the original Reynolds and Condor decals.
Tifosi Carbon forks (1 inch) have been added to improve stiffness.
Groupset:
A brand new Campagnolo Athena groupset was added 2 years ago. Including:
Rear Brakes: Dual Pivot Caliper. Shimano Ultegra BR-6700 (w/ spare & instructions – in box)
(Paid £47.9
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo Athena 11 Speed (w/ instruction book)
(Paid £79.96)
Crankset: Campagnolo Athena 11 Speed. Compact cassette 172.5 34/50 (w/ instruction book)
(Paid £127.96)
Sprockets: Campagnolo Athena 11 Speed (w/ instruction book)
Rear Cassette: Campagnolo Chorus Cassette 12-25
(Paid £85.20)
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo Athena 11 Speed (w/ instruction book)
(Paid £28.36)
Front Derailleur Clamp: Acor 28.6mm
Control Levers: Campagnolo Athena 11 Speed Ergopower Power-Shift (w/ instruction book)
(Paid £127.96)
Cables & Casing: Campagnolo (w. instruction book)
Chain: Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed
(Paid £31.32)
Wheels:
Mavic Ksyrium Equipe S front and rear, with Campagnolo Freehub.
(RRP: £265.99)
Saddle:
Fizik Arione CX saddle - White and Black.
Since its restoration 2 years ago, the bike has been ridden from time to time, and is in fantastic condition. The frame is in immaculate shape with no dents. The only wear that has occurred is in the form of small chips to the paint work on the chain stay - caused by typical contact with the chain. These have been repainted and are barely visible.
The bike rides very well, with the benefits of the comfortable classic steel frame, stiff front forks, and modern Campagnolo groupset.
If you have any more questions and/or would like to make an offer, I'd be keen to hear from you and discuss further.
Thanks, Will
