Concorde now listed for sale

So, can anyone identify that stem - and perhaps more importantly - advise how to get into lt for removal please?

The usual complete strip down is about to commence. There'll be many more requests for advice as I'm completely unfamiliar with much of the Campy stuff - in particular those brifters, if that's what they're called...

So, if this is going to be a respray, which day-glo/garish Concorde colour scheme are you going to go for? 😄

I still regret selling my Prelude a few years ago, all Concordes are nice, but the top ones particularly so, of course. Looking forward to seeing this return to its glory days...

Yes, "Don sunglasses, there's Concorde coming this way!"
I'd like to identify the model if possible to get an idea. I think I have seen one or two in cataloguesthat aren't quite so lurid. I thought maybe a pearly white with a lightly applied, faded contrast at headset bb and seat cluster or summat. I think colour choice may be some way off though!

I actually like some of the rather colourful Concorde colour schemes, though you're right there were a fair few that were a lot more normal, not quite so 'jazzy'. The fades idea sounds good.

I think as @kermisking said, this is either an Aquila or Squadra. I would probably say it's a Squadra based on the fact that it has the large bird logo stamped on the headtube lug where it meets the downtube, though that may well of changed from year to year. I do have a scan of an early 90s catalogue somewhere...

Sadly I'm forced to downsize my "in waiting" machines. I thought when I acquired this it might become the pinnacle of my restoration efforts, but my enthusiasm for "down to the last nut & bolt" jobs has decidedly waned. I can't face it any more. The underlying quality of this one speaks for itself and it could become a real showstopper.

So - it's for sale at the measly price I paid for it £80!

I'm afraid it has to be a "collect only" or "arrange your own courier" job. Sorry about that. I'm in Norwich. Perhaps I could travel a little way - at fuel cost - to meet a willing buyer.
