Thinking of getting a frame sprayed up to match the grey of M900 XTR mechs, does anyone know the colour code? Might also need the code of the deep blue shifters too, just in case i get brave and consider a fade.

I noticed that the color codes m900 xtr fd and rd have changed over the years with at least four different colors. The third goes with the top one.

Could you go to a paint shop with your mech and spend a couple of hours looking through color swatches? Usually that's the most straight forward (though tedious) method.
Ask Shimano directly? (could be a custom color that's Shimano specific)

pretty sure the parts are polished, then anodized.
you could maybe get close with a candy gray paint. shiny silver base, or polish first. then paint.
ive done some items in the past with duplicolor "metalcast" paint, which is meant to mimic an anodized look. when done over polished aluminum, it looked pretty convincing. keep in mind that it could chip pretty easily though.
