Cabling aside that is a beaut.

What's the story - the slight patina makes it look super original?

it is completely original, with full nuovo record groupset. the only thing i've changed has been the weird cabling (all back to front) and the seatpost (was a top adjusting campag, now aeropost). also i have swapped out the rims from ma2 tubs to ma40 clinchers so i can ride it a bit more with less fear of having to sit at the side of the road and swap a tub.

got it from a man in the essex marshes who had been given it by an american friend. had to go to the end of two seperate trainlines on a misty winter's morning. couldn't quite believe my eyes when i got there.

currently front and back are black - i swapped the front tub (gp4) a MA40 clincher. haven't got the rear swapped out yet, so stuck a gatorskin tub on there to prolong tyre life.

but yes, needs to be consistent.
