My collection is being reduced so now for sale is my Colnago Mexico circa 1982. Measurements are seat tube 53cm c to c. Top tube 54cm c to
All in excellent condition. Chrome is believed to be original and in very good condition. Has been repainted by previous owner. Unusually has bottle cage bosses on seat tube. I can’t confirm if these were factory fitted or installed sometime later during its 40 odd year life. Naturally it has Campagnolo Super Record group set throughout. Again in excellent condition and working perfectly. Lots of pantographing to give it such an authentic look. Cinelli 65 bars and 1a stem. Chainset has 170 cranks and 42/52 chain rings with a 6 speed block. Bars are wrapped in the very difficult to find and expensive if you do Benotto tape. Rolls saddle. Wheels are sprint rims, Super Champion Arc en Ciel 36H with new Victoria Rally tubulars.
I can confirm that the bike rides beautifully but unfortunately is a little small for me so not even likely to be used for the special summer cafe rides. It therefore sits in my spare bedroom as an ornament with a couple of other bikes soon to be sold.
I am asking £2200 which I feel is a sensible price for such an outstanding bike.
Collection is preferred as I would like new owner to view the bike in person. Apologies for the shadows in the photos. I can take more photos on request. I am in Hampshire.
