collecting on a budget

im still a newbie,so piccies later,ive only been collecting since april time
and have;
1955 Gents Phillips Lightweight Tourist 3 speed
1956 Gents Triumph Palm Beach 3 speed
1958 Ladies Triumph Palm Beach 3 speed
1958 Ladies Elswick Rod brake (i think its a hopper) 3 speed
1979 Grifter plus mk2 frame and a boxer
1978 Brown Brothers Vindec 3 speed ladies
1983 Raleigh The winner 10 speed gents racer (in use )
1984 Raleigh Wisp ladies 10 Speed racer (maybe for sale)
1985 Falcon ladies 3 speed
1988 Raleigh Merlin 15 speed ,this had mountain bike bars and is sripped in preperation (when funds allow!) for converting to fixie
1986 Raleigh sapphire Girls 3 speed (like a shopper)
1992 Raleigh Excel 10 speed ladies almost like new
1993 Raleigh Activator 2 18sp (raleighs 1st full suspension mtb
apparently)
and 2 folders an austrian unidentified because of paint job (looks like a Bianchi tho )
and a Pannonia Mayfair Both 3 speed
and of course the unidentified very light 10 speed racer that i have posted about under 'Newbie'
These are all in as found condition ,all tyres are up and except for the elswick they all work on the road
i wont be repainting just cleaning and making roadworthy
then hopefully showing at car shows in wiltshire

started by rescuing 2 from an old mans overgrown garden
then freecycling some parts and fixing a few for people in return for swops , and giving unwanted parts to my friendly market bike stall in return for 1st dibs,pay what he pays!
Also wife likes the peace and quiet whilst im in the workshop! and she can watch her crapon the box (i aint silly)

thats nice im a newbie with a poor mans collection,if we cant be on here unless we have pristine expensive bikes then id better leave

Thank you very much,
I aim to save these bikes from the scrapman or from being stripped,
i cant afford to get fancy,shiny or rare bikes,and the one i have will stay as i found them,i dont see the point of spending loads on 'restoring' as i think it spoils them
They do get new cables and eventually new tyres,wheel balancing and servicing
Bikes should be used not hidden away till put on show,i recently asked about a local club and they turned their nose up at me so if im not welcome id sooner not bother!
oh and i have great fun (especially with the grifter) cleaning them and then riding them around,and the looks and comments make it worthwhile
