Not a Zaskar but hey, yellow Spins, that must be quite rare, never seen such thing. Well, not since "Pacific Blue" movie where Hans had ones if I good remember.

so the owner/seller of the bike is good with paint and applying of decals?

I vaguely recall reading some thread where a rounded end cap for a Zaskar was discussed. So is the definitive answer, round end cap on top tube = not a Zaskar? (no matter the size or year)

Of this particular vintage definitely not a Zaskar.

This is a Zaskar LE

Not true, This is a Zaskar LE, they made em like this in 96, I know cos I rode for them that year and had a Blue one prior to a Team RTS followed by a Red ano LE, pretty sure all of the above had the rounded GT emblem behind the seat tube.

Not pretty sure but definitely know you are wrong. Zaskars had flat top tube end caps in 1996. Infact from 1990-1999 and some into the 2000's. I'm guessing the one posted in the listing also has rear dropouts that are clearly stamped "7005" on the inside making it either an Avalanche or Pantera. You see I own a couple, few , half dozen..of what is it now anyway? 14 maybe 15 of them. The oldest of them is a Red and a 96. Has the same decals as the one in this listing only black and white, flat top tube end cap and a stamping inside the rear dropouts that clearly states "6061". You know the funny thing is those yellow and blue Zaskar decals have been available on eBay for going on 10 years now.....fancy that, all have flat top tube end caps. Enough said

Hmmmmm

 #

Will have to get my ol pics out, 100% my Team RTS was curved GT behind the seat tube, 75% on the Zaskars, they all came direct from Carratti to me back then.
